tuesday night all stars holiday banquet (holiday party #13)

The Tuesday Night All-Stars are a group of great guys that play basketball every week. As the president of the woman's auxiliary (and only member) I was invited to attend their Christmas banquet at the Red Key. I stopped in on the way home (the Red Key on the way home - it really is, I can draw you a map if you like) They had a record turnout, and there was no room for me at the table. I stood and chatted with them for a bit, but one of the Red Key rules is no standing in the aisle.

So, instead I plopped down next to the Posh Petals women. Erika and I played with my new iPhone and discovered features that I didn't even know existed. It has Google maps on it. I punched in the address of the corner (52nd and College Ave, Indianapolis) and a map of the intersection popped up. I tapped on the picture of the end of the building and a screen appeared that said "Posh Petals" with their Web site and phone number. I tapped on the phone number and it called Posh Petals.

We entertained ourselves by looking up our houses. It is very Big Brother-ish. You can see the detail of my backyard enough to see the hammock and table. Freaky.

The TNAS guys offered to make room for me, but I did the sensible thing and went home. The next two nights also have two parties on the calender.

That snow is pretty! Glad you live close enough you can walk if need be to work, cafes, etc.

Try to get some rest Nora. You are making me tired!! :)

When the parties quit you are going to have a bad case of withdrawals. Of course, you'll be so exhausted it'll take a couple of weeks for it to sink in.
