almost there...kind of

I'm here! Sitting on the floor near an outlet to plug the computer in.

I'd forgotten how big this place is. I landed in Terminal F and I'm flying out of Terminal A, I think I might have walked to another county.

The walk felt good, I have plenty of time and it helped calm me down a bit. I have that pre-flight nervousness going on.

The airport is pretty barren and business like. They are also doing a ton of construction, so there is lots of narrow boarded off places right now. I did discover a cool flag display. It started with the Betsy Ross flag and ended with our current one. A bit of trivia- the Betsy Ross PEZ dispenser is the only one based on a actual person.

Okay, I'll go back to my regularly scheduled freaking out. Will I even recognize the people that I'm travelling with? I have not seen them for years...and twenty pounds on my part, or should I say my bohunkus (as Jamie Dawn would say).

I'm so jealous. I haven't been across the big pond (or a Great Lake) in years. But it'll be fun to backseat drive while you travel across Ireland.

Erin Go Bragh! (I think that's Irish for Don't lose your bra!) Have fun!!!!

I hope you are able to post every day that would be great. Don't get me anything to expensive. Seriously, I hope you have a wonderful time.
Pre-flight nervousness? I usually just call it by its common name - tossin' my cookies. Happens everytime I fly.
Be safe, have fun.

Oh Nora!I'm so excited that you're taking us with you! I can't wait for your next post. And if you don't find a sheep farmer over there, we'll find one for you here in Nebraska.

Hi Nora! Girls Gotta' Have Fun! Do it girl!
I will really enjoy reading your Irish posts. They will bring back a lot of good memories.

Just watch out for the leprechauns, one of those guys pushed me down some steps, I broke my kneecap and ruined my big finger on the left hand forever.

We can compare notes at Blogstock '08. We did a southern route west from Dublin to the coast, south along the coast, over to Kilarney, and back to Dublin. It was a great week except for the last day (broke my bones).
