I adore the cartoon Queen Bee Nora that
Wayne Bertsch (boyfriend of
Kim) drew. I'm um...curvy. You can check out more of Wayne's NUVO work
here.
NUVO also ran a piece about the Tonic Ball. The writer called me a
young urban progressive! You can read it
here.
And I wrote a music
preview for the same issue.
This is my favorite
NUVO issue ever! I was drawn curvy, called young and will be paid for writing.
Wheeee!

Nora, your coolness has officially reached stratospheric levels.
10 bucks says Drinky Bear tries to dance with me Friday night.
Wow Nora! You've officially achieved media saturation this week! Congrats on all the publicity.
(See, I told you you'd been gifted with quite the comic rack!)
Hey, you YOUNG thang, you!!
I love the cartoon!!
I like your bee wings. How cute!!
Nora
I read that article and it is pretty impressive - 2,900 meals in four hours. Just don't let your new title, Young Urban Progressive (YUP) go to your head.
Way to go.
Ralph
Great character! You must be thrilled. I draw cartoons and cartoons and laugh and laugh and show them to others and they pat me on the head and say, "Poor, poor Granny Annie........"
What a week! You must be grinning from ear to ear :D
I came back to read NUVO. I'm impressed Nora. Yer a good one for sure.
